Imperial and metric dimensions included.
For metric customers, please know we're Americans and made it for the imperial system we know in the USA, and have done our best to give the metric equivalent. We suggest that you use the plans with that in mind and be ready to tweak any measurements on the cut list to match the size panels you have.
This listing is for the digital build plans of the "DIY Shop Base Cabinets" as featured in a build video on the YouTube channel wittworks. Once purchased, you will receive an email to download them immediately. Since this is a digital file, there is a strict no refund policy.
The cabinets are easy to build, use a standardized drawer system so you can move around drawers as your needs change, and the best part is, these drawers use no expensive drawer slides or hardware. You don't need to even have a dado blade or router to make grooves for the runners.
This is a great project for anyone looking to build a workshop or improve the storage in their garage.
Approximate Final Size:
120" Long (can be modified every 20"), 24" Deep, & 36" Tall (can be adjusted with the toe kick base).
The plans include a full material breakdown so you can approximate costs. The panel cutlist is a good starting point and a suggestion, but you are free to cut however you see fit on your panels.
A single 20" wide cabinet with drawers takes a single 4'x8' sheet of 3/4" and a single 4'x8' sheet of 1/2" plywood.
I built a 10' run of base cabinets for $480 plus the cost of glue, screws, drawer pulls, and countertop. The cost of plywood and consumables will vary.
